Cinnamon is a weight loss spice that is especially beneficial for those with type II diabetes because of its strong blood sugar-lowering properties.

You may include more cinnamon in your diet by eating it on lean chicken breasts, in a bowl of oats, coffee, or whey protein shakes!

Ginseng is an herbal root found in Asia and some parts of North America boasting a few powerful benefits:

  • Helps prevent heart disease

When it comes to appetite, peppermint has an oddly strong effect that helps people lose weight. Specifically, one study found that those who were instructed to sniff peppermint when they were hungry consumed 1800 fewer calories in a week than people who were not.

Use the oils or make some peppermint tea, and make sure to inhale a few times before drinking.

A dandelion herb's entire body is edible and full of nutrients. They are rich in beta-carotene, vitamin K1, dietary fiber, and numerous other vitamins and minerals.

Serve it with fried chicken, eggs, potatoes, or in a fragrant tea.

This is another interesting spice that helps boost metabolism and has been shown to lower blood glucose levels.  Keeping blood glucose levels down keeps insulin low and the body’s ability to burn fat HIGH.
